Growing up in a family that loved films, Ed's creative side was stoked at an early age (must have been all those Saturday afternoon double features).
He wrote his first screenplay when he was nine (yes, he was the star, yes, it was a Western, and no, Warner Brothers did not pick it up).
Well, the folks at Warner Bros. probably didn't even know about it, but you could see where this was headed.
After a career detour into the world of finance, Ed re-connected with his love of the arts and has been working steadily as an actor ever since.
He resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
Ed just shot "The Breaks", a VH1 pilot movie about the early '90s rap music scene. Great to work with director Seith Mann again. Should premiere Fall 2015.
Recently Ed worked on the final episode NBC's drama "Allegiance" with Giancarlo Esposito, directed again by Alex Zakrzewski. You can catch it online at nbc.com.
Some recent favorite work includes the film "Labor Day" opposite Kate Winslet, and 2 episodes of the Fox drama "The Following".
Check out Ed in this exciting new short film, "The Verdict", directed by Juan Reinoso.
